About the stay
Savute Safari Lodge overlooks the Savute Channel and a waterhole in the western part of Chobe National Park. Its chalets are built from local timber on raised decks.
It is a good lodge for photographers, with a telescope on a high deck, an eye-level hide at the waterhole and a sunken bench for low-angle shots. Game drives often head to the Savute Marsh.
